We are so excited to be bringing to you the Shofar factory!

In preparation for the Jewish new year, 'Rosh Hashana' children (with some help from the grown ups!) will craft their very own ram's horn instrument, known as "Shofar" in Hebrew, at Royal Oak Chabad’s “Shofar Factory".

Children will help to cure, measure, saw, drill, and polish a real ram's horn to transform it into a working Shofar instrument.

We’ll also have:
- A toddler Rosh Hashana center
- A apple dipping and decorating station
- Making Shana Tova cards
- And a honey making station

We’ll hear the shofar. We’ll eat spaghetti and traditional Rosh Hashana foods.  We’ll sing. Create I-spy exploration bottles. Decorate and eat an apple face. It’ll be meaningful and special. It will be safe and distanced. We’ll all wear masks until seated.

Do you remember the Shavuot Kids in the Kitchen when we made Lasagna rolls and you all wanted to do it again? We put our chef hats on, got dirty and ate heaven food?

We’ll we’re doing it again. 

3 Sundays and 3 delicious dishes. 

3:30PM-4:30PM in Royal Oak (address provided upon registration)

We take our children’s safety seriously. We’ll be doing it outside with space to distance.
